Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between Ahmad Salahaddin Saidq, operating as LedgerOne ("we", "us", "LedgerOne"), and the person or business creating an account ("you", "your business", the "Customer"). By checking the box on the sign-up form, or by using LedgerOne, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
LedgerOne is a point-of-sale and financial ledger system for shops that track serialized inventory (IMEI/serial-numbered devices). This page covers the hosted, subscription version of LedgerOne ("the Service") that you sign up for here. If you instead run LedgerOne on your own server under a separate agreement, these Terms do not apply — ask us for that agreement instead.
1. Your account and workspace
Creating an account gives you one workspace —
an isolated database at your chosen subdomain
(yourshop.leadgerone.site) — and, once you
finish email verification, credentials to sign into it. You
are responsible for:
- the accuracy of the business, contact and billing details you give us;
- keeping your sign-in credentials confidential, and every action taken under them — including by staff accounts you create inside your workspace;
- telling us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement, and the Service is intended for business use by shops and their staff, not for personal or household use.
2. Subscriptions, trials and billing
New workspaces start on a free trial (currently 14 days, subject to change). During the trial you can use the Service without payment; nothing is billed automatically at the end of a trial. To keep using the Service afterward, you choose a plan and pay for a period (monthly or longer) in advance, through our payment processor.
- Plans and branches. Plans differ in what they include (number of shops/branches, login accounts, and other limits shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe). Adding a branch beyond what your plan includes is billed as an add-on, at the rate shown when you add it.
- Currency and payment. Subscription prices are in Iraqi Dinar (IQD) and are processed through Wayl, our third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your card or payment account details — Wayl handles that; see Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for what we do receive.
- No automatic renewal surprises, no refunds. A subscription covers the period you paid for and does not renew on its own — you choose when to pay again. Because of that, and because access is granted immediately on payment, payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused time, or if you stop using the Service before a paid period ends. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us — we will look into it, but a refund is at our discretion, not a right this section grants you.
- What happens if a period lapses. If a paid period ends and you have not paid for the next one, your workspace is not deleted and your data is not touched — every page simply redirects to the billing page until you pay (or your trial/grace period is otherwise extended). You can always sign out or switch your display language from there.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law, or store or process data you are not lawfully allowed to hold (for example, a customer's ID document collected without their knowledge or consent);
- attempt to access another workspace's data, probe our infrastructure for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Service's availability for other customers;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or provide the Service to third parties as your own hosted product, outside of ordinary use by your own staff;
- upload malicious files, or use the backup/restore or file-upload features to store or distribute anything unrelated to running your business through LedgerOne.
We may suspend or terminate a workspace that we reasonably believe violates this section, with notice where practical.
4. Your data, and your customers' data
Everything you enter into your workspace — items, customers, suppliers, sales, purchases, safe transactions, uploaded documents such as ID scans — belongs to you. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store it, including under whatever privacy or consumer-protection law applies to your own business and your own customers. As between you and us, you are the data controller for the personal data of your customers that you store in LedgerOne, and we act as a data processor on your behalf, storing and processing it only to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for the detail of how we handle it, who else can see it, and how long it is kept.
You are responsible for the accuracy of financial and inventory data you enter — LedgerOne is a record-keeping and reporting tool, not an accountant, and we are not responsible for business decisions made from reports it generates.
5. Availability, backups, and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and take nightly automated backups of your workspace, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You can also take your own on-demand backup at any time from Settings — a self-contained file containing your data, which you can store wherever you like and, if you ever leave, use to move your data elsewhere.
We may change, add to, or remove features of the Service over time, and may change these Terms — see Section 10. We will not deliberately remove core record-keeping functionality (the ability to see and export your own data) without reasonable notice.
6. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time; simply not paying for a further period ends your paid access (see Section 2). Cancelling does not delete your data — your workspace is retained so you can pay again later and pick up where you left off. If you want your data permanently deleted sooner, contact us and we will do so, subject to Section 7 of our Privacy Policy (some records may need to be kept longer for legal or accounting reasons).
We may suspend or terminate a workspace that: violates Section 3; has been inactive with no paid period for an extended time; or was created to abuse a free trial (for example, repeat sign-ups from the same business to keep re-starting trials). Where reasonably possible we will give notice and a chance to export your data first.
7. Intellectual property
LedgerOne — its software, design, and branding — is our property (or licensed to us) and is not sold to you. Your subscription gives you a right to use it, not ownership of it. You keep all rights to the data you put into it.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what is described on our pricing page. Reports, totals and balances the Service produces are only as accurate as the data entered into it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the law of Iraq: neither party will be liable to the other for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including lost profit or lost data) arising from these Terms or the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. For a material change, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not agree, you should stop using the Service and may request that your data be deleted.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iraq, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Iraq, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law where you are located requires otherwise.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms, billing, or a data request can be sent to ahmadsadiqkhayat@gmail.com.
